Indus Battle Royale To Debut On PC And macOS Via Fortnite Creator Mode
To bring Indus to Fortnite, the two-women team at SuperGaming worked on Epic Games' Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) for 27 days to bring Indus' gameplay, map, and modes in Fortnite. While talking about their work with UEFN, Christelle D'cruz, Co-Founder At SuperGaming, said:
We learned, built, and created Indus with UEFN in about 27 days with no prior Unreal experience. This will allow us to test Indus' gameplay with external audiences faster and give more gamers a chance to experience Indo-Futurism through their game of choice — Fortnite.
Recently, SuperGaming organised the Indus Esports Invitational, where Reckoning Esports emerged victorious. Indus Battle Royale's first-ever tournament and the Frag Compilation helped the Indian Gaming community get a glimpse of their mobile platform. With Indus coming to Fortnite, SuperGaming is targeting the 220 million monthly player base at a global level to test and spread the name of the game. Here is what Roby John, CEO and co-founder at SuperGaming, has to say about bringing Indo-Futurism to the world:
At SuperGaming we firmly believe that India's culture and talent demands the biggest possible stage for the world to see and play in. With Fortnite having an estimated 220 million monthly players globally, there's no better way to bring Indus and Indo-Futurism to the world.
As seen in the fran compilation, the map of Virlok will make its way to Fortnite Creator Mode to showcase its concept of Indo-Futurism. Players will get their hands on Indus' weaponry and mechanics and feature its Cosmium-focussed win condition, according to which players must harvest this unique resource to claim that victory. SuperGaming is yet to announce the release date of Indus Battle Royale in Fortnite Creator Mode.
Players can pre-register for the Indus Battle Royale game on the Google Play Store to enjoy pre-registration rewards and claim them as soon as the game goes live.
