Samsung seems to be betting big on its new smartwatch lineup. The company is expected to announce at least three new Galaxy smartwatches next month. At its next Galaxy Unpacked event, the company is likely to unveil the Galaxy Watch FE, whose name has been accidentally confirmed by the company itself. The first rumor about the smartwatch surfaced a few months ago.
The Galaxy Watch FE name has appeared on the company’s website, which is meant for the US market. The title of the webpage and URL mentioned the upcoming smartwatch’s name along with its dial size (40mm). The webpage also mentions the model number (SM-R861) of the smartwatch.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Expected Features
The webpage appears to be for business customers who wish to purchase the Galaxy Watch FE in bulk. The company seems to have accidentally published the webpage. It also mentions the bulk pricing, but that information is hidden under a blur effect. However, if previous reports are to be believed, the entry-level variant could come at $199.
The Galaxy Watch FE seems like a rebranded version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which was launched almost three years ago. Its model number (SM-R861) closely matches the Galaxy Watch 4 (SM-R860). A few days back, the specs and features of the Galaxy Watch FE surfaced in a leak.
The leak suggested that the Galaxy Watch FE will come packed with the Exynos W920 processor, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB storage. It has a 1.2-inch screen with 396 x 396 pixels resolution. The watch will come in Black, Blue, and Pink colors. It will come with an IP68 rating and an MIL-STD-810H-compliant design.
The watch will feature an accelerometer, bioimpendence analysis, barometer, ECG, gyro sensor, and a heart rate monitor. As for the connectivity, the smartwatch will pack GPS, Wi-Fi- b/g/n, and NFC. The smartwatch is powered by a 247mAh battery and supports magnetic wireless charging.
