Honor Magic 7 series including the Honor Magic 7 and Honor Magic 7 Pro have been launched in China. The lineup has now been confirmed to see a global launch soon, although an exact date has yet to be announced.
The smartphones in the series are powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets and support 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. They come packed with triple rear camera setups including telephoto shooters. The smartphones ship with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 skin on top.
The Honor Magic 7 series is expected to launch globally soon, the company’s global PR head Bhavya Siddappa (@bhavis) confirmed in an X post. The exact date of the launch wasn’t revealed and its India launch is also uncertain at the moment.

Honor Magic 7 Series Under The Hood
The Honor Magic 7 has a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1,264 x 2,800 pixels) LTPO OLED display, while the Pro variant sports a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) LTPO OLED screen. The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits of global peak brightness, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection. They are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB onboard storage. They run on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 skin out of the box.
Camera-wise, the Honor Magic 7 series phones pack a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP secondary sensors with ultra-wide lenses, and 50MP selfie shooters. The base model has a 50MP telephoto camera, while the Pro option is packed with a 200MP periscope telephoto shooter, both with 3x optical zoom.
Both devices support 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. The standard version comes with a 5650mAh battery, while the Pro option is backed by a 5850mAh battery. The phones pack in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include dual 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity.

Xiaomi 15 Series Launched As First To Pack Snapdragon 8 Elite
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro as the first two devices to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Elite was announced last week. The chipset is built on a 3nm process and utilizes an Oryon CPU, adding notable performance increases in this year’s flagship chipset.
The Xiaomi 15 series takes on that chipset alongside an upgraded cooling system in the 15 Pro. The new system adds a 14% increase in cooling areas. On top of that, the Xiaomi 15 Pro has a 6100mAh battery, while the less expensive variant has a 5400mAh unit. In either case, battery life is said to be reliable.
