Poco has teased its inaugural tablet in India while confirming that the upcoming device will be up for grabs in the country via Flipkart. Notably, the Poco tablet debuted alongside the Poco F6 series globally in May but the launch date of its Indian variant is yet to be decided.
Poco Pad has also received BIS certification in India with the model number 24074PCD21. The listing also revealed that the upcoming device will have an aspect ratio of 16:10.
Poco Pad is basically a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G, which was launched in China in the month of April. The first-ever Poco tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

Poco Pad Under The Hood
The Poco Pad is said to come with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits (high brightness mode). The Poco Pad is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The tablet comes with a single 8MP camera on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies.
The tablet is powered by a 10,000mAh battery pack which can be fast charged through a 33W fast charger. Speaking of the software, the Poco Pad runs on Xiaomi HyperOS wrapped around Android 14.
The Poco Pad’s global variant launched at a price of $330, which translates to around Rs 27,500. Besides, the accessories for the inaugural Poco tablet are priced at $80 (approx Rs 6,500).

Lenovo Tab Plus With 8 Speakers Launched In India
Lenovo has announced the launch of a new tablet for consumers looking to buy a big-screen Android-powered device for listening to music and watching movies and TV series.
Named Lenovo Tab Plus, the latest tablet for the company comes with eight JBL-tuned speakers and has an 11-inch 90Hz LCD screen with 2K resolution and 400 nits brightness.
Powered by the Dimensity Helio G99 chipset, the tablet comes with four-matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers that output 26W stereo sound. Besides, Lenovo states that users can also use the device as a standalone Bluetooth speaker. Users also get a personalized app volume control that can dynamically adjust the audio for the apps of their choice.
The tablet is IP52-rated and packs 8GB RAM and 256GB that can be further expanded through a microSD card and has an 8600mAh battery that can be charged at 45W. It also features an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and another 8MP sensor on the front for video calls.
