In the past few months, there have been several rumors claiming that the 10-anniversary edition of the Apple Watch will finally bring a major design overhaul. Now, according to TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is also backing those predictions.
According to an investor post shared on Medium, Kuo wrote that the Apple Watch Series 10 will be sleeker. This comes just a day after Bloomberg reported that Apple is also aiming to produce a thinner iPhone and MacBook for the 2025 product upgrade cycle.
Notably, the upcoming smartwatch won’t only come in a sleek design, but will also come with new size options. It will reportedly come in 45mm and 49mm sizes, up from the 41mm and 45mm variants that Apple currently offers for the Apple Watch Series 9.

Apple Likely To Shift To 3D-Printed Parts
Another major change is that the company will shift to 3D-printed parts for its upcoming smartwatch portfolio due to trimmed-down production costs. “Intensive testing over the past year has significantly improved the production efficiency of 3D printing,” Kuo writes.
As for the smartwatch, the leaks have been relatively low about new fitness and biosensing features. As per the Bloomberg report, the Apple Watch Series 10 will also come with a new band attachment design that will need magnetic parts.
Hardware changes could include a larger, but thinner chassis, and will accompany yet another important upgrade. “People involved in the development of new Apple Watches say the system takes up a considerable amount of space that could be better filled with a bigger battery or other components,” says the Bloomberg report.

Apple To Add MicroLED Screes To Apple Watch
The company is also said to ditch OLED panels to accommodate microLED screens for the smartwatch. As for the wellness side, the report mentions blood pressure sensing, a feature already seen on smartwatches from Samsung and Huawei.
Experts believe that blood glucose monitoring is still far-fetched, but progress seems to be promising. The most notable objective is to develop noninvasive methods for measuring blood glucose levels and alcohol concentration.
The latter is crucial health and workout data and could be particularly appealing for athletes. As of now, there is no confirmed leak that suggests the price tag, but given the recent wave of Apple products that have taken a fresh approach, fans can expect a price hike for the Apple Watch X as well.
