Apple seems to be working on some new accessibility features that will be rolled out to iPhone and iPad. These features include creating a new way to navigate through apps to reduce motion sickness and others.
In a blog post, the company announced it plans to launch several accessibility features, one of which enables the user to use their iPhone or iPad with their eyes. This eye-tracking feature leverages the front camera and on-device machine learning to help a user navigate their apps using just their eyes. Moreover, these users can use Dwell Control to access extra features using their eyes such as swipes, physical buttons, and gestures.

Apple To Launch Music Haptics For iPhones
For users who have a hard time hearing or are deaf, the company is rolling out a feature called “Music Haptics.” This feature leverages Taptic Engine to vibrate the iPhone in sync with the music that’s playing. The company says the feature works with millions of songs available in Apple Music.
Another feature that catches the eye is the one that helps people who are vulnerable to motion sickness. Soon iPhone and iPad will have a feature that will offer “Vehicle Motion Cues,” which are animated dots that come up on the screen and show changes in vehicle direction. The feature is designed to fix the sensory conflict between what users see and what they feel without hampering the reading and watching experience.
Moreover, Apple also announced vocal shortcuts, voice control for CarPlay, live captions for visionOS, the ability to move captions in Vision Pro, and more. There’s no specific date for when the company will release these features, but Apple says they will launch later this year.
