Apple has launched the AirPods 4, AirPod Pro 2, and AirPods Max during the at the GlowTime event. The pricing for these new audio accessories has also been revealed. The pre-orders are available now, and the shipping will begin on 20 September.
Besides, the AirPods 4 is capable of interacting with Siri and has an active noise cancellation variant for the first time. Apple suggested that AirPods 4 comes with an H2 chipset that improves audio quality and has personalized spatial audio. Apple AirPods Pro comes with a Hearing Aid feature for users in more than 100 countries.

Apple AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 2 Under The Hood
As for the specifications, Apple said that the new AirPods comes with features including a USB-C and wireless charging. Apart from this, the new AirPods have these features: active noise cancellation, an H2 chip to improve audio quality, personalized spatial audio, adaptive audio, a case speaker, conversational awareness, forced sensors, and up to 30 hours of battery life.
Apple claims to have designed AirPods 4 with sustainability as the prime focus, using 100 percent fiber-based materials and reducing packaging by more than 30 percent with their move towards carbon neutrality goal by 2030. The company has priced the AirPods 4 at $129, while the active noise cancellation variant is priced at $179.
Apple also launched the AirPods Pro 2 during the event. The new variant comes with hearing protection, a hearing test, and a hearing aid feature. Besides, the AirPods Pro 2 comes with a personalized hearing profile, conversation awareness, conversation boost, adaptive EQ, effortless set-up, a noise app, and more. The company said that the new health features coming to AirPods Pro 2 later this year in more than 100 countries.

AirPods Max Under The Hood
Apple, during the event, also launched a new AirPods Max. These headphones will come in new colors – Midnight, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Starlight, and feature USB-C. On the features front, the new model comes with active noise cancellation, spatial audio enabled with iOS 18, and transparency mode.
It also offers an extended battery life of up to 20 hours, fast charging, offering up to 1.5 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge, Bluetooth 5.0, and can be used with a wired connection through a Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable. Besides, the device can also be integrated with the company’s ecosystem. They come at a price of $549.
Moreover, the company also launched the new iPhone 16, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max smartphones. Not just that, the company also unveiled a new variant of its smartwatch -- the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
