A PlayStation 5 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Bundle and PlayStation 5 God of War Ragnarok Bundle went on sale towards the end of July, at reduced prices. And this morning, gaming analyst Rishi Alwani took to Twitter to share the news about a new PS5 bundle for India. He claims that the disc version of the console should roll out when the current offer for Rs. 7,500 off standard disc consoles ends.
Online commerce platform ShopatSC has announced an Independence Day sale - its promo material features a DualSense controller and the lineup may have PS5 games. A few days ago Sony announced that it is temporarily lowering the price of the PlayStation 5 in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, and India.

Sony's Global Console Sales Could Be Clearing Room For The Launch of PS5 Slim or Pro
The price drop promotions come on the heels of Sony's announcement that it has sold 40 million PS5s since the console’s launch in 2020. Sony revealed it has tripled the number of consoles it shipped from January to March at 6.3 million units. It's possible that Sony is looking to clear some stocks before the arrival of Slim, hence the PS5 console sales around the globe in Poland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, India, Portugal, Ukraine, KSA, South Africa, UAE, etc.
Australian gamer Nick "Shpeshal Nick" Baker claimed that PS5 Slim reveal is set for August via a “PlayStation Show and is set for September 2023 release and will offer users the option to have a disc drive or not via a detachable disc drive.
