Hyundai Stuns Gamers With a GTA 6-Inspired Trailer

Hyundai, the Korean-based automobile company and manufacturer's motorsport division, has surprised gamers with a new GTA 6-themed trailer on their official X handle. The parody trailer has taken the internet by storm, as the clip has amassed a lot of attention in the gaming scene. GTA 6 is easily one of the most anticipated titles in the industry which has a release date for 2025. With an official trailer released about a month ago, fans are filled with joy to get their hands on the next GTA installment.

With Hyundai Motorsport making a teaser inspired by the original one, fans are appreciating the car manufacturer's efforts.

Hyundai Motorsport Recreates GTA 6 Teaser and Surprises Fans

Hyundai's motorsport division has delivered a pleasant surprise to gamers by thoroughly recreating Rockstar's world of Vice City in their trailer. The teaser has carefully recreated every scene from the GTA 6 trailer that was released in December 2023. The result was a hilarious homage to the upcoming Rockstar Games title, with fans picking up on references to the game trailer, which was recreated by Hyundai, almost shot-by-shot.

Gamers across the web have shared their excitement after watching the trailer as they are praising the idea.  Hyundai's latest social media act caught the internet by surprise as no one saw an iteration of the trailer coming. However, the trailer only garnered more attention from fans as they were quick to jump to Hyundai's page. 

GTA 6 has had more creative tributes made to its trailer with a YouTuber called World of Shrimpy making a LEGO iteration with almost 3,000 LEGO bricks. This in itself was a huge feat to achieve and fans greatly appreciated their efforts in the video. The YouTuber also launched a comparison video where they put their iteration side-by-side to the original trailer.

Fast forward to January 2024, Hyundai's GTA 6-themed trailer has taken over the trend, and fans are more excited for the title to launch. Hyundai's Rally team has published the trailer stimulating a similar picture of the Vice City open world by Rockstar Games. The trailer is officially known as Grand Test Auto XXIV by Hyundai and can be watched on YouTube or the official X handle for the car manufacturer. The name is a pun for the racing world which features many hints for the GTA franchise as well. The trailer also recreates many funny moments from the original version, which were taken from real-life incidents.
