With Activision's CoD Next around the corner, the developers gave fans a sneak peek at their plans for the event. In a recent post, Call of Duty pointed out four points on their agenda for CoD Next, including a MW3 Multiplayer Reveal, a Zombies Gameplay Trailer, a New Warzone Map Premiere, and new Warzone Mobile features. Additionally, Call of Duty teased the addition of Aftermarket Parts which will be part of MW3 Gunsmith.
CoD Next will go live on October 5, 2023, at 9 a.m. PT, and Activision will gather developers and creators under one roof to discuss the future of the Call of Duty franchise.

As fans await the reveal of the newest map in Warzone, Call of Duty's social media handle has provided them with its first look. In the recent tweet about CoD Next 2023, a short five-second video shares a glimpse of the upcoming map. The tweet hints that the map will be based in a large city with skyscrapers. The town might have a small dockyard since cranes and shipping containers are also present in the video.

Activision also teased the coming of Aftermarket Parts in Modern Warfare 3 where players can upgrade their weapons as per their preferred playstyle. Here is what Sledgehammer Games' systems designer, Nick Carraro, had to say about the upcoming update:
Think of them as remixes for the guns. It's a way for players to come back to a weapon that they may have already mastered or played out, and it's going to give them an entirely new dimension to interact with the gun in a way that regular attachments can't.
At CoD Next, Activision will reveal live gameplay of Modern Warfare 3's Multiplayer, Zombies mode, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Alongside the live gameplay, the developers will be discussing the release and features of the games. The event will be live on Call of Duty's YouTube and Twitch Channel on October 5, 2023, at 9 a.m. PT.
