Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Z Fold 6 foldable smartphones. The clamshell foldable phones do not come with any major changes except for some hardware enhancements.
Hence, it looks like Samsung has just refreshed last year’s model with new internals and fused some AI features. Regardless, the new line of the foldable phone will go against the likes of Motorola Razr 50 series, and others in the market. Let’s have a look at their features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a boxier design and a pill-shaped camera on the rear panel. It is IP68-certified dust and water-resistant and is packed with enhanced Armor Aluminium and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch internal and a 6.3-inch external screen with a dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of photography, the smartphone features a triple rear camera with a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto unit with 3x zoom. The external screen has a 10MP selfie camera while the internal display has an integrated 4MP sensor. It can record up to 8K videos and offers features like Photo Assist, Portrait Studio, and Insta Slow-mo.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has arrived in India in three variants. The 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB, which will be selling for Rs 1,64,999 and Rs 1,76,999, respectively. The 12GB+1TB variant only comes in Silver Shadow and is priced at Rs 2,00,999. Buyers can also get a two-screen / parts replacement pack worth Rs 14,999 for only Rs 999.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes packed with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer cover AMOLED screen is 3.4-inch and has a 720 x 748 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.
The smartphone is equipped with upgraded cameras compared to its precursor. It packs a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 and OIS paired with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It retains the 10MP selfie snapper.
Speaking of the innards, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with ray tracing onboard. It is coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This is the first time the clamshell device is equipped with a vapor chamber for heat dissipation. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery cell with support for 25W charging. The smartphone also runs on OneUI 6.1-based Android 14 and is guaranteed to get software support for 7 years.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes in two variants, such as 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The prices for these variants are Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,21,999. The handset comes in three colors, such as Blue, Mint, and Silver Shadow.
