Google has finally updated the Play Store with support for multiple app downloads. The feature allows users to initiate downloads for multiple apps in tandem without having to wait for the first app to finish downloading and installing. With the new update, Android users can start three downloads from the Play Store and the change also applies to the pending app updates.
Downloading and installing apps from the Play Store has traditionally been a time-consuming process. Until now, the Play Store only let users download or update only one app at a time.

How To Download Multiple Apps From Play Store
Previously, if users were downloading or updating multiple apps simultaneously, the Play Store would process them sequentially, taking its own sweet time- finishing one app before starting the next. This limitation often led to frustration for users.
To be able to download multiple apps from the Play Store, users should use the Play Store app on their Android smartphone.
- Once users have updated the Play Store, they need to start browsing for the apps that they want to download.
- Open the first app page and then hit the “Install” button.
- Now, move to another app and press the “Install” button.
- Now, users need to repeat the same process for the third app.
- All three apps will download and be installed at the same time.
To update multiple apps through the Play Store, users need to open the Play Store and head to the My Apps and games section. Now, they need to head to the updates section and tap the “Update all” button to start the process.

Google Brings Gemini’s Onscreen Awareness To More Phones
Google is said to be rolling out new Gemini AI assistant features on Android smartphones that enable users to ask the AI chatbot questions related to what’s on their phone’s display. Moreover, Gemini has the ability to offer YouTube video summaries and respond to queries to specific YouTube videos.
These features have been available on the latest Pixel 9 series smartphones; however, it looks like they are rolling out to other Android smartphones as well. Once the feature is live on your device, open the floating window for the Gemini AI assistant by long pressing the power button.
Users will see a new “Ask about this screen” floating button above the Gemini window. Tapping on the button takes a screenshot of what is on the screen and shares it with Gemini AI.
Once a user takes a screenshot, they can ask Google's Gemini questions about objects on the screen. However, it should be noted that since Gemini uses the screenshot to gather display information, it won’t be able to answer questions about the entire page.
