Google has started rolling out a “Lite” plan for Google One that comes with a small storage bump, and an even smaller cost. A Google One subscription allows users a few perks but primarily adds storage that can be used across their account.
This applies to services including Gmail, Google Photos, and Google Drive. Everyone gets 15GB for free, with upgrades available to 100GB, 200GB, and 2TB. Google is now rolling out a more affordable “Lite” tier for One which has less storage for a minimal charge.

Google One Lite Price And Other Details
Google One “Lite” has been spotted rolling out in the country for some users. The plan does not appear for everyone, but has a free trial for some accounts. The new plan doubles the storage for users on their account from the free 15GB up to 30GB.
That storage cannot be shared with other users, though, as the other plans enable users to share storage with up to five other users. It’s also said to lack any other features of other Google One tiers.
Pricing on this plan starts at Rs 59, or around $0.70 per month. Existing Google One plans start at $1.99 in the US, or Rs. 130 in India (roughly $1.55). It remains to be seen if the company intends to launch this “Lite” plan outside of India, but does appear to be a decent stepping stone towards larger storage options.

Google Play Store Now Lets You Download Apps Simultaneously
Google has finally updated the Play Store with support for multiple app downloads. The feature allows users to initiate downloads for multiple apps in tandem without having to wait for the first app to finish downloading and installing. With the new update, Android users can start three downloads from the Play Store and the change also applies to the pending app updates.
Downloading and installing apps from the Play Store has traditionally been a time-consuming process. Until now, the Play Store only let users download or update only one app at a time. Previously, if users were downloading or updating multiple apps simultaneously, the Play Store would process them sequentially, taking its own sweet time- finishing one app before starting the next. This limitation often led to frustration for users.
To update multiple apps through the Play Store, users need to open the Play Store and head to the My Apps and Games section. Now, they need to head to the updates section and tap the “Update all” button to start the process.
