Anker’s latest 100W Nano Charger is around 60 grams lighter than the company’s last ultracompact 100W wall charger, but it has a big tradeoff. To make its smallest 100W power adapter yet, the company had to let go of a couple of USB ports.
The new 100W nano Charger is up for pre-order for $44.99 and ships in mid-September. The new frame is about 26 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than Anker’s Prime 100W GaN charger, which is the smallest 100W power adapter the company previously sold with two USB-C and a single USB-A port.

Anker 100W Nano Charger Under The Hood
To better put the Anker 100W Nano Charger’s size into perspective, with its prongs folded, it’s only around 17 percent larger than the Apple AirPods Pro 2’s case, so the Nano should fit in your pocket where AirPods or other earbuds fit in.
Anker is also including a feature it launched recently that the company says will allow users of the adapters to stay securely plugged into wall outlets. The 100W Nano’s prongs come with a matte finish to improve their grip when plugged in, but it’s a claim that is yet to be tested.
The new 100W Anker nano Charger is definitely one of the smallest power adapters launched to offer this much power, but with a single USB-C port, its size might be negated if users want to juggle devices and bring additional adapters to power more than just their laptops.

Realme Unveils 320W Charging With ‘Pocket Canon’ Adapter
Realme has decided that phones need to charge to 100% in just a few minutes. The company has announced a new 320W charging tech that uses a different battery design. Chinese companies have been in a race to break charging records for modern smartphones.
Brands like Oppo have hit speeds at 240W, which can get a phone charged in around 9 minutes. It’s without a doubt impressive, but it raises some concerns about battery longevity.
In a video posted on Weibo, Realme announced that it is introducing a new charging tech that leverages 320W charging. To put things in context, currently, 80W is considered pretty fast for general use. Realme claims the new tech leverages a different form of battery that takes inspiration from solar panels, folding cell over the cell to provide a compact profile. The idea is that these cells can then be charged simultaneously.
