One of the biggest changes that Apple made to its newly announced iPhone 16 series is the latest new Camera Capture button. The button serves as a shortcut to the camera app and settings. It is a pressure-sensitive button, with several functions triggered based on how hard users press it.
While the relevance of this button is being debated ahead of the iPhone 16 sale, Android OEMs seem to expect the feature to gain popularity soon. At least, that’s what the latest teasers by Realme hint at.
Realme VP Chase Xu took to Weibo to tease the Camera Capture-like button on an upcoming smartphone by the company. XU also shared on X that Realme is working on a similar feature for an upcoming phone. "Great minds think alike," he said.

Which Phone To Get iPhone 16-Like Capture Button
In response to the video shared by Chase Xu, several users speculated that the feature could be coming to the next Realme flagship phone, which will likely be the Realme GT 7 Pro. However, Xu has responded to the rumors saying that it is confirmed that the feature is coming to a Realme smartphone, but it will not be the GT 7 Pro.
While Apple is often blamed for bringing Android features, it is also very common for Android OEMs to copy features from iPhones. For example, Dynamic Island was copied by several Android OEMs, including on the Realme C53, it S23+, and the Infinix GT 10 Pro.
The Dynamic Island feature was never seen on premium Android smartphones and only on mid-range phones such as the Realme C53. It is likely that the Camera Capture button will also be seen on mid-range devices.
