The OnePlus 13 is said to launch later this month. Before the phone sees the light of day, the company announced of its key accessories: a 50W magnetic wireless charger. The company will be among the first OEMs to launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Earlier, Louis Li Jie, OnePlus’ president, suggested that the upcoming flagship would support magnetic wireless charging. Though the launch date for the OnePlus 13 hasn’t been confirmed yet, the company has already announced its magnetic wireless charger.

Magnetic Turbine Under The Hood
The wireless charger is called “Magnetic Turbine,” and it comes with an interesting design. As per an official image, the charger sports a built-in fan. Louis Li Jie says this design will help address heat issues related to fast wireless charging, making sure the OnePlus 13 stays comfortable to hold while charging.
Oppo also offers a similar magnetic wireless charging solution for its Find X8 series. On that note, Oppo has previously confirmed that the upcoming magnetic accessories are compatible with the iPhone, suggesting that third-party MagSafe accessories will be compatible with the OnePlus 13 as well.
Moreover, Louis Li Jie has confirmed that the magnetic wireless charger maxes out at 50W. The OnePlus 13 is said to support AirVOOC 50W wireless charging. So, it should be able to take full advantage of this accessory.
Other expected specs for the OnePlus 13 include a 6,000mAh battery, an ultrasonic reader, and support for 1000W wired charging. The company recently revealed the phone’s rear through a teaser. It confirmed a triple-camera setup and a slightly redesigned back.

What to Expect From OnePlus 13
The OnePlus 13 is said to be the first smartphone from Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, offering a substantial performance boost over the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This could make the upcoming smartphone one of the most powerful smartphones out there.
The design of the OnePlus 13 might also see some changes. Leaks hint that the circular camera module seen on the OnePlus 12 will be replaced with a vertically stacked camera setup in the top-left corner of the rear panel.
The partnership with renowned camera brand Hasselblad is expected to continue, making sure that photography remains a strong feature of the device. Some suggest that the OnePlus 13 might come with advanced camera features from Oppo, which shares the same parent company, possibly including a high-quality sensor and impressive optical zoom.
As for the display, the OnePlus 13 is said to retain a 2K resolution screen, ensuring sharp visuals for media consumption and gaming. Another possible upgrade is the introduction of an ultrasonic sensor, providing faster and more secure unlocking.
