Samsung Unveils Music Frame With Dolby Atmos For India

Samsung has launched a new product, which is unique from its usual lineup. The company has launched Music Frame in India on the principles of The Frame smart TV by the South Korean brand. As the name suggests, the Samsung Music Frame is a wireless speaker that seems like a traditional photo frame but actually works as a standalone speaker or a soundbar. When not playing music, it can also display photos.

Samsung’s Music Frame comes with a Dolby Atmos 2.0 channel and can be controlled through its built-in assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa as well. The Music Frame features SpaceFit Sound Pro analyses the acoustics of the room and adjusts the output of sound accordingly.

Samsung Music Frame Specifications

Samsung Music Frame offers 120W sound output and is accessible through Bluetooth, Chromecast, AirPlay 2, Bixby, remote control, and Wi-Fi. It is compatible with iOS and Android devices.

It is also compatible with Q-Symphony for TV pairing as a soundbar and can be customized via Samsung’s SmartThings app for equalizer settings. The plug-and-play soundbar does not have a built-in support. The new product is available across the company’s website and Amazon and at select offline stores at Rs 23,990.

“The new Music Frame epitomizes exceptional technology in the form of a picture frame with its unique, elegant design while delivering a cinematic audio experience,” said Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Visual Display Business, Samsung India.

Samsung Unpacked Event Slated For July 10 With Focus On AI

Tech Giants, including Apple and Google recently hosted events that focused on sharing their gen AI advancements with fans across the world. Now, Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Paris, France on July 10, with emphasis on AI in the Galaxy Z series.

Samsung put out an animated video for the event, which made references to Paris and AI before ending with an abstract shape being folded out to lie flat - a sign that several people believed was a nod to foldable devices. While the invites for the event did not give out details of the products or the AI features that the company would reveal, viewers are expecting design upgrades for the company’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6.

Generative AI will likely be one of the biggest highlights of the event, possibly when it comes to updates across the Galaxy Z ecosystem. “Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI,” the company noted in its invitation. However, one highly-anticipated product that Samsung could launch is the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
