Samsung Unpacked Event Slated For July 10 With Focus On AI

Tech Giants, including Apple and Google recently hosted events that focused on sharing their gen AI advancements with fans across the world. Now, Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Paris, France on July 10, with emphasis on AI in the Galaxy Z series.

Samsung put out an animated video for the event, which made references to Paris and AI before ending with an abstract shape being folded out to lie flat - a sign that several people believed was a nod to foldable devices.

While the invites for the event did not give out details of the products or the AI features that the company would reveal, viewers are expecting design upgrades for the company’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6.

What To Expect From Samsung Unpacked Event

Generative AI will likely be one of the biggest highlights of the event, possibly when it comes to updates across the Galaxy Z ecosystem. “Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI,” the company noted in its invitation. However, one highly-anticipated product that Samsung could launch is the Samsung Galaxy Ring.

Many people are hoping the company will provide an update regarding its previously announced smart ring, and any information about its confirmed price or when it might hit the market shelves. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom India, and the company’s YouTube channel at 6:30 pm IST, the company noted.

Earlier this year, when rival Apple suffered a media mishap due to its negatively received ad that tried to promote the iPad Pro by showing musical instruments and artists’ tools being crushed, Samsung used the situation to launch an ad for its Galaxy Tab S9 that hinted at AI integration in its products.

Samsung Accidentally Confirms Galaxy Watch Ultra Name

Samsung’s Unpacked event is slated to happen next month, and there are rumors that a range of devices will be launched. One persistent wearable-related claim is that Samsung will launch a Galaxy Watch Ultra variant during the event, and it seems the company might have accidentally confirmed the name as well.

According to a report from 91mobiles, an official “Galaxy Watch Ultra” support page on the company’s regional websites. The now-removed pages listed the name, 47mm size, and LTE support.

Samsung might have pulled these pages from the web, but users can still use Google Search to view the company’s mention of the “Galaxy Watch Ultra” name and other details. The news comes a few weeks after regulatory bodies listed a Galaxy Watch Ultra too. But now Samsung itself has confirmed, albeit accidentally.
