Realme 12x 5G With Dimensity 6100+ SoC Launched In India

Realme launched the Realme 12x 5G smartphone in India, which is their latest addition to their 12 series lineup. With Realme 12x 5G, the company attempts to enter the budget segment by offering the device under Rs. 12,000. Realme 12x 5G comes with Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, dual stereo speakers, and a VC system.

Realme 12x 5G will have an early bid sale on 2 April 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm, where buyers can avail up to Rs. 1,500 cashback on selected bank partners. The device will be available from Flipkart and Realme’s official website.

Realme 12x 5G Becomes India’s First Smartphone With VC Cooling System And Air Gestures

Realme 12x 5G sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 950 nits. The device provides six dynamic refresh rates, so users have the option to adjust the refresh rate as per their use case. Branded as “The Entry-Level 5G Killer”, Realme 12x 5G is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ octa-core 5G chipset, which is built on top of a TSMC 6nm process, complemented by a VC Cooling system under the hood. Realme 12x 5G comes with realme UI 5.0 on top of Android 14 out of the box. 

In terms of memory, the device comes in the following three variants:
 

• 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM 
• 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM 
• 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM

Realme 12x 5G comes with interesting features like Air Gestures, where the user can navigate through the phone without touching the screen. The device also comes with IP54 certification, making it a water and dust-resistant smartphone. For an immersive experience, Realme 12x 5G bundles dual stereo speakers and offers Antenna Array Matrix System 2.0 for reduced latency while gaming. In terms of battery, the Realme 12x 5G is packed with a 5000mAh battery, and comes with a 45W SUPERVOOC charge support, which can charge the device from 0-50% in 30 minutes. 

Camera

Realme 12x 5G comes with a dual-camera rear setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP Black&White Camera with f/2.2 aperture. With the dual-camera setup, Realme offers multiple modes to click images. In the front, the device sports a 12MP in-display selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. In terms of videography, Realme 12x 5G can record videos up to 1080p resolution at 30fps.

Realme has announced the early-bird sale for Realme 12x 5G, which starts on 2 April 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm. During the sale, customers can grab up to a Rs. 1,500 discount on the purchases with selected bank partners. The pricing for all the variants is as follows:

• 4GB + 128GB: Rs. 11,999 (Rs. 10,999 with bank offers)
• 6GB + 128GB: Rs. 13,499 (Rs. 11,999 with bank offers)
• 8GB + 128GB: Rs. 13,999 (Rs. 13,999 with bank offers)

Realme 12x 5G will be available in two colours, Woodland Green and Twilight Purple, and will be available on sale on Flipkart and the official Realme store.
