Chinese tech company Poco is set to unveil its inaugural tablet, the Poco Pad 5G, on August 23 in India. After its launch in the global market earlier this year in May, the Poco Pad 5G will soon be available for purchase through Flipkart in India.
The Walmart-owned e-commerce giant has listed the tablet on its platform. It is said that the Indian version will mirror the specifications of its global counterpart. Here’s what the upcoming Poco pad 5G tablet could offer.
The global variant of Poco Pad 5G boasts a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth visual experience. With a peak brightness of 600 nits, Dolby Vision support, and a 2.5K resolution, the display ensures vibrant and sharp visuals.

Poco Pad 5G Tablet Under The Hood
The Poco Pad 5G Tab comes packed with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which promises a zippy and efficient performance. Its sleek metal construction offers both durability and a premium look to the tablet. Running on HyperOS-based Android 14, the tablet will receive consistent updates for Android and security.
The Poco Pad 5G comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand storage through a microSD card slot, offering flexible storage solutions. It will come packed with a robust 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, enabling users for extended usage. For audio, the tablet supports Dolby Atmos, offering a rich and immersive sound experience.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. The Poco Pad 5G is said to be priced below Rs 20,000 in the Indian market. The tablet combines high-end features with an affordable price point, positioning itself as a strong contender in India. Lenovo Legion Tab Launched With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
Lenovo Legion Tab was launched for Indian consumers, a few weeks after the Chinese tech brand opened pre-orders for the tablet in the country. The new Android tablet sports an 8.8-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate.
The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. The Lenovo Legion Tab was unveiled in select global markets in March this year. It comes with a 13MP main rear camera and packs a 6,550mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Lenovo Legion Tab is priced at Rs 39,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in a single Storm Grey color option and will be up for grabs from August 15 via the company’s Indian website, Flipkart, and other outlets. The e-commerce website Flipkart has already started accepting pre-orders for the tablet in July.
