POCO M6 Plus 5G Launching On August 1 In India

Xiaomi’s spinoff brand POCO will be launching the M6 Plus 5G smartphone in India on August 1. The POCO M6 Plus will join the company’s M6 Pro in the company’s M6 smartphone series.

Ahead of its launch, POCO has confirmed that the M6 Plus will come packed with a dual-camera system on the rear panel, featuring a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. POCO said the big main sensor will enable 3 in-sensor zoom.

The upcoming POCO M6 Plus smartphone could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13 5G smartphone, which was launched in the country earlier this month. If true, the POCO M6 Plus would come equipped with a 6.79-inch fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

POCO M6 Plus 5G Specifications

While POCO has already confirmed that the smartphone will sport a 108MP primary rear camera sensor of an f/1.75 aperture, it is likely that the main camera will be assisted by a 2MP macro camera at the back. The smartphone could feature a 13MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip at its heart, coupled with 8GB RAM. The smartphone is also said to feature a 5030mAh battery and would likely get support for 33W wired charging.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus To Be Launched On July 31

Nothing has officially confirmed the upcoming release of its latest smartphone, the Phone (2a) Plus, which is set to be launched on July 31. As expected, everything has been kept under wraps, revealing only the name of the device and an interesting image.

Fans of the brand have been eagerly waiting for what’s in store with this new addition to the company’s portfolio. The teaser image suggests a possible redesign, showcasing a texture that hints at a fresh aesthetic. However, there is a chance that the Phone (2a) Plus will maintain the familiar design of its predecessor, the Phone (2a). The specifics remain to be seen.

Besides, the teaser also hints at a new color scheme, featuring a grey and black combination. The tagline “Plus, More, Extra" could mean that the smartphone might pack a bigger display and additional features, further piquing interest.

We also made some improvements that didn’t require hardware design changes. Finally, we wrapped it up with a new kick-ass variant that reflects these upgrades."
