Details about the much-anticipated Call of Duty 2026 and Call of Duty 2027 seem to have made it out in the open. A known leaker has shared some information about the two games. Although this year’s and next year’s COD offerings have yet to be announced officially, we might already know some early details about the 2026 and 2027 installments.

As per the known Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson, 2026’s CoD will have a semi-futuristic setting and will be a sequel to Black Ops 2. And, as now shared by leaker VISCERAL, Call of Duty 2026 will be a new CoD: Ghosts entry.

The leaker suggests that this new entry is under development at Infinity Ward under the moniker "Project Devilwood." Moreover, CoD 2027, with the codename "Project Anvil," is believed to be a new Advanced Warfare title from Sledgehammer Games.

Start Of Treyarch's Three-Year Development Cycle

There is no way to verify these details, so readers should take this information with a grain of salt. Since 2015, the CoD series has been under the three-year development cycle with Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer trading off development duties.

"This fall's game will be Treyarch's first on the three-year development cycle," Activision Publishing former CEO Eric Hirshberg said about Black Ops III during an earnings call back in 2015. "It will be loaded with innovation, and we're excited to share more details with our community soon."

In April, the leaker put out some additional info about the upcoming Splinter Cell Remake from Ubisoft. The leaker suggested that the remake will come with ray-traced audio, and enemies will be able to detect the player based on ray-traced reflections. We will get more information about this year’s Call of Duty in the coming months.

Two Games Confirmed For Xbox Game Pass In June

There’s still some time left for the Xbox Game Pass in May, but there are already reports floating around what the company has in store for June. Two games have already been confirmed as of now, although both titles will launch on “day one” on the service.

Many would see Still Wakes The Deep as the highlight. It’s a first-person horror game created by the team behind Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther.

The second game coming to the service is called Rolling Hills: Make Suchi, Make Friends. This game will allow players to run a restaurant. Xbox users can expect more announcements for June 2024 in the coming weeks.
