Rumors are rife that at least one new Lenovo Legion Go model could be on its way. Speculations of a Legion Go “Lite” were further fueled by an accidental post on the company’s official website that revealed an upcoming new version of the handheld gaming console.
As originally spotted by a user on the Legion GO subreddit and subsequently looked into by VideoCardz, the FAQ section of the Legion Go product page has some interesting answers about the console that clearly don’t have much relation to the current model.
The answers suggested that the Legion Go will feature an HDMI port and dual fans, which won’t match the device’s specs. They also stated that the handheld “comes with a 7-inch or 8-inch display,” depending on the model.

Lenovo Legion Go Lite Expected Specs
The sole version of the console comes packed with an 8.8-inch display, hinting that a smaller Legion Go might be in the offing. Some have inferred that this alludes to two new Legion Go models, considering that even an 8-inch display would be an odd way to round 8.8 inches.
It’s likely that the FAQ answers were just a mistake, and they have now been removed from the product page. However, that makes for three very specific slip-ups, and it’s not the first instance where rumors of a smaller Legion Go have surfaced. In May, Windows Central suggested that an unnamed but informed source had revealed the company’s plans for a Legion Go Lite.
With the original device being released only nine months ago, it might be a little soon to expect a new version, although sometime towards the end of this year could be a possibility.
