JioBharat has finally broken the cover in India. It was launched in the country as an entry-level feature phone that comes with support for 4G connectivity. The phone is a budget from the company that also features support for the company’s special JioBharat plan.
The feature phone comes pre-installed with apps like JioTV, JioCinema, and JioPlay. The feature phone is also equipped with a rear camera unit and is currently available for purchase in the country. It joins the JioBharat B1 4G, which was launched in India in October last year.
The new JioBharat J1 4G can be purchased in India at a price of Rs 1,799 through Amazon. The feature phone is listed in a Dark Grey color scheme.

JioBharat J1 4G Specifications, Features
The new JioBharat J1 4G sports a 2.8-inch display alongside a physical keypad with dedicated navigation and call answer/reject buttons. The phone runs on Threadx RTOS and has support for 0.13GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Jio also offers an extended 4G recharge of Rs 123 which provides users with unlimited voice calling and 14GB of data per month. Users will be able to access 455+ channels including many regional channels using the pre-installed JioTV app. Using the JioPlay app, users can also access easy UPI transactions.
The JioBharat J1 4G is backed by a 2500mAh battery and is also equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 135 x 56 x 16mm in size and weighs 122g. For optics, it carries a digital camera unit at the back. This camera also helps users scan QR codes for online payments.

HMD Launches Nokia 3210, 235, 220 4G Feature Phones With YouTube
Previously, HMD announced the launch of the new version of the Nokia 3210 4G feature phone with YouTube and YouTube Music cloud apps. The phone will also come with support for UPI payment in India. Besides, the company also launched two more feature phones -- Nokia 235 and Nokia 220 4G -- with a similar set of features.
These feature phones were launched in Europe a few weeks ago as devices that can help users who are seeking digital detox. While the design of the Nokia 3210 is inspired by its 1999 counterpart, the Nokia 235 and 220 are simple-looking feature phones with modern connectivity features, compatible with both Airtel and Jio.
The Nokia 3210 4G will be available for Rs 3,999, while the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 4G are priced at Rs 3,749 and Rs 3,249, respectively. All three phones will be available through Amazon, the company’s official e-store, and also from offline partners.
