Google Drive Locks Out Author After Labelling Content ‘Inappropriate’

A writer was stripped of her access to more than 222,000 words when she found herself locked out of her Google Drive account. The woman lost all her work in progress. American author, K. Renee, who mostly uses Google Docs to put her imagination into words, is known for her romantic novels. 

But her creative process came to a halt when Google Drive denied her access to her account on March 24, 2024. What’s more surprising is that Google Docs revoked her access not because of a technical snag but because it found her content inappropriate.
