Gigabyte Launches AI-Backed Gaming Laptops In India

Gigabyte has announced the launch of the Aorus 16X and the G6X series of gaming laptops in India. These laptops come with Microsoft CoPilot and the company’s AI Nexus technology which helps with AI tasks and gen AI apps. The Aorus 16X laptops come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support. They have 16-inch displays and offer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The company confirmed in a press note that the pricing of the Gigabyte Aorus 16X and the G6X gaming laptops in India would fall between Rs. 96,999 and Rs. 1,89,999. The exact pricing of the models is yet to be announced. The laptops will be available for buying in India starting in July through online and offline retail stores.

The Gigabyte Aorus 16X ASG and Aorus 16X AKG models come in two color options - Aurora Gray and Midnight Gray. Besides, the Gigabyte G6X 9KG and G6X 9MG come in a single Gunmetal Gray shade.

Gigabyte Aorus 16X, Gigabyte G6X specifications

The Gigabyte Aorus 16X gaming laptops feature a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification, and Pantone Validated color accuracy certification.

The Auros 16X lineup gives the option to use Intel Core i9 CPUs paired with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. The Gigabyte G6X series, on the other hand, comes with Intel Core i7 chips with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. The Gigabyte G6X laptops also come with Microsoft CoPilot features, while the Gigabyte Auros 16X features the in-house AI Nexus technology.

Gigabyte also confirmed that the Auros 16X models are equipped with 3-zone RGB backlit keyboards, while the G6X versions have 1-zone RGB backlit keyboards. The laptops are packed with dual speakers, mics, and Dolby Audio support. On the connectivity front, the laptops support up to Wi-Fi 7 and up to Bluetooth 5.4.

Asus Launches ROG Zephyrus G14 With AI

Asus has announced the launch of the 2024 variant of the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop in the Indian market. This gaming machine is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HS series processor which comes with built-in Ryzen AI capabilities and has up to 39 TOPs of performance.

Previously, the laptop was introduced at Computex 2024 and comes fitted with a built-in NPU for AI-accelerated tasks combined with a dedicated Nvidia GPU. The new gaming laptop will be starting at Rs. 1,74,990 in the Indian market. It will be selling through online as well as offline retail channels.

Consumers can get the laptop through Amazon, Flipkart, and ASUS e-shop. Moreover, the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop is available at ROG Stores, Asus Exclusive Stores, and popular multi-brand merchants such as Vijay Sales, Reliance, and Croma.
