Apple Watch Series 10 has been launched globally at Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event. The tech giant revealed the latest smartwatch in two variants. Apple’s newest smartwatch comes with a slimmer design compared to its precursor, while still providing users a bigger display.
The new smartwatch comes with a new chipset with Apple Intelligence features. With the Watch Series 10, Apple has expanded the Depth app to support the standard model. The company has also launched a new colorway for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 that was first unveiled in 2023.
The Apple Watch Series 10 price starts at Rs. 46,900 for the 42mm GPS variant, whereas the LTE option is priced at Rs. 56,900. The Titanium version in 42mm Cellular comes at 79,900 and the 46mm option is priced at Rs. 84,900. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is the new Black Titanium color and will be available for Rs 89,900. Pre-orders have already started and will be up for grabs starting September 20.

Apple Watch Series 10 Design And Variants
As per Apple, the Watch Series 10 is equipped with a new wide-angle OLED display and rounded corners, which makes it easier to type messages and passcodes. It comes packed with the largest-ever display on the standard Apple Watch lineup, which is now said to be 40% brighter than its precursor.
At 9.7mm, the company says the Watch Series 10 is also the thinnest-ever Apple Watch. It sports an aluminum frame made with Silicone nanoparticles. Apple has also unveiled a titanium variant of the Apple Watch Series 10 that is said to weigh less than the stainless steel Apple Watch Series 9.
As for the specs, the Apple Watch Series 10 is powered by a new S10 chipset with a four-core neural engine which is said to be 30 percent smaller. Users will also be able to play music and podcasts directly on their smartwatch using the built-in speaker.

Apple Watch Series 10 Under The Hood
The new smartwatch comes with 50m water resistance. Apple says the Watch Series 10 is its fastest-charging smartwatch yet, with up to 80 percent of charge achieved with only 30 minutes of charging.
Another highlight feature this year is the inclusion of a sleep apnea detection feature. Apple Watch Series 10’s accelerometer is capable of measuring breathing disturbances. Moreover, the smartwatch also checks restfulness in sleep. Using machine learning, Apple analyses this data every 30 days and shows this data to the user, informing them of any irregularities in their sleep.
This feature is said to be available in 150 countries. The Apple Watch Series 10 also comes with features offered by its predecessors such as medication reminders and Atrial fibrillation (AFib) alerts.
