Warframe is Now Available on Apple iOS: How to Download, Device Compatibility, and More

Popular looter-shooter developed by Digital Extremes and Panic Button Games is now available on iOS devices. Gamers have been waiting for this for a long time since it was announced back in 2021. After the iOS launch, developers have promised that Warframe iOS will support full cross-save and cross-play as players can continue their in-game progress from any other device on iOS. 

The mobile version of Warframe will be nothing different from the console or the PC versions, as one will be able to join millions of players from PC and consoles in their journey and enjoy the online co-op experience.

How to Download Warframe on iOS Devices?

Digital Extreme's popular looter-shooter is played by over 70 million players and is one of the biggest free-to-play sci-fi games available in the market. The game has always been popular for its fresh content with a plethora of items to use in an arsenal. With the title finally coming to mobile devices and in iOS, here's how one can download it:

• One can head to the official Apple Store page and look for 'Warframe' in the search tab.
• Then upon finding the page, gamers can click on it to see the full preview.
• The game is free-to-play and if their device is compatible, gamers can download the iOS version and play it.

Upon scrolling down in the Information section, gamers can check the compatibility of Warframe iOS with their device. For iOS, the game is available on both iPhone and iPad. 

One can also continue their PC and console progress in the iOS save by logging into the iOS version first with their Apple IDs. Once done, Warframe will automatically pick up the progress from the respective device. 

What Devices Are Compatible for Warframe iOS?

As the title has been newly launched for iOS devices, only a handful of iPhones and iPads are compatible. Here are the devices that can run Warframe:

• iPhone: Requires iOS 14.0 or later and a device with the A12 Bionic chip or later. (104.3 MB)
• iPad: Requires iPadOS 14.0 or later and a device with the A12 Bionic chip or later. (104.3 MB)

The launched for iOS on 20th February 2024. However, many Android gamers are waiting for the title to come their way so they can enjoy and have the same experience as iOS gamers. While waiting, gamers can pre-register for the Android version, as the title is expected to be released in early 2025.
