Made In India Indo-Futuristic Indus Battle Royale Beta Access Available For Android Users

SuperGaming revealed that the Indus Battle Royale crossed 8.5 million pre-registration. To celebrate this feat with their fans, SuperGaming's Indus Battle Royale is out for Android users, two months after organising a restricted beta event for the selected iOS users. Commenting on the successful playtest events and crossing the 8.5 million pre-registration mark, here is what Roby John, CEO and co-founder of SuperGaming, said:

With Indus pre-registrations crossing 8.5 million, it's obvious that the Indian art, culture, and stories in the game have attracted a global audience worldwide. We thank all our playtest players, esports pros, and content creators for playing their part in building India's gaming revolution with us; now it's India's — and the world's — turn to play Indus.

With the beta access coming to Android users, fans can enter the map of Virlok, which has been worked upon after a series of feedback from the Indus community playtest and Indus Esports Invitational. All interested players can get access to the game by grabbing the Indus Beta Key and getting on the waitlist at Indus Beta.

With the launch of the Indus Battle Royale beta, SuperGaming unveiled the "Cosmium Changes Everything" trailer to signify the importance of Cosmium in the game. Players can capture the Cosmium, an in-game item, which can ensure them a victory, even if they aren't the last player standing. While talking about the Cosmium, here is what Roby John said:

Cosmium is central to Indus' universe, story-telling. The trailer is inspired by our players and how they interacted with Cosmium in our playtests and the Indus Esports Invitational to make for a vastly more exciting gameplay experience.

SuperGaming also claims that Indus Battle Royale can run at 40fps on low-end Android devices with 4 GB of RAM. For the players with high-end devices, the Indus can swiftly achieve the 60fps mark. While talking about the importance of budget users' interest, here is what Sujeet Kumar, Technical Director at SuperGaming, had to say:

Mobile is the biggest segment of the Indian gaming market, and we want to treat players on mobile as first-class citizens rather than an after-thought. While Indus runs on Unity, our fully custom-built sandbox shooter tech stack called the Indus Engine allows us to optimise the game even further for a smoother playing experience.
