Steam is returning with the new edition of Next Fest this June, promising some big drops and interactions. Steam Next Fest kicks off this week and features over 30 playable PC VR demos and live streams with the developers. A few dev teams themselves will be playing their game and answering audience questions. Promos and teasers of unreleased titles are also a major USP of the fest, which kicked off on June 20 and will go on till June 26.

Steam Next Fest Brings a Whole Bunch of Great Demos for Some of the Best Indie Games on the 2023 Calendar
The triannual event unveils upcoming titles held on Valve’s PC gaming distribution platform, Steam. Typically, hundreds of developers — across indie and AAA titles — upload demo builds of their games for fans. The game which was originally known as Valve's Steam Game Festival got a new name in 2021. Some of the most-anticipated teasers from this year:
Sea of Stars: A turn-based role-playing game by Sabotage Studio Games is a prequel to the 2018 action game The Messenger
Wizard With a Gun: An online cooperative sandbox survival game by Galvanic Games lets players navigate their way through a feral wilderness.
Wargroove 2: Chucklefish tapped developer Robotality for a sequel to the turn-based strategy game Wargroove. The sequel will reportedly feature a roguelike mode in addition to the main campaign
Little Kitty, Big City: The action-adventure game by indie studio Double Dagger Studio lets players assume the role of a charming cat who has to find its way through the big city
Jusant: The action-puzzle game features rock climbing in a fantasy world and was a surprise announcement during the Xbox Games Showcase.
Lil' Guardsman: In the deduction/adventure fantasy by Hilltop Studios players can play as 12-year-old Lil who has to cover his dad's shift at the guard shed of a castle and has to stand his ground against elves, goblins and other fictional monsters
