Star Wars Jedi Survivor Patch 7 came out on September 5, 2023, for all the available platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game's last major update was on July 18, when developers fixed minor issues regarding a few glitches. However, with Patch 7, fans are in for a significant change.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Fans Receive Solid 60 FPS with DLSS Support
Respawn's latest Star Wars title saw a rough start upon launch, with the game failing to maintain consistent frame rates. Even after a series of patches, fans complained about the game lacking much-needed features like the DLSS. Following the Patch 7 update, the developers paid heed to the fans by adding a massive tweak to the technical side of Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
NVIDIA's cutting-edge super-sampling technology is a massive upgrade for Jedi Survivor. It will allow fans to enjoy the game at a higher framerate and try out better settings. Following the FPS upgrade, players across PlayStation and PC will face little-to-no fluctuations.
The official patch notes for Jedu Survivor from EA Respawn reads the following:
- This patch introduces several performance-related improvements* on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, including:
- Performance mode is reworked completely to improve player experience substantially.
- Several GPU and CPU optimizations – along with disabling Ray Tracing – have resulted in a better player experience, including a solid 60 FPS in Performance mode.
- Quality Mode has also received optimizations to help reduce FPS fluctuation and introduce other visual improvements.
- Variable Refresh Rate support added for PS5.
- Additional performance & optimization improvements for PC, including DLSS support.
- Save system tweaks to help prevent save game corruption.
- Fixed issues where players could not retrieve their XP after dying under certain circumstances.
- Various crash fixes.
- Various bug fixes & improvements across all platforms, including cloth, lighting, and UI fixes.
The developers also added a note mentioning the cinematics in Star Wars Jedi Survivor on consoles are 30 FPS locked.
