In the interview, Mike mentioned a 30fps 'Visuals' mode, a 60fps 'Performance' mode, and a 40fps 'high framerate' mode. The last fps mode is for display support higher than 120hz. With the upcoming Spider-Man title, the studio has promised significant feats such as a double-weight map than the previous game and many other features that use the most out of the PlayStation 5 hardware. With the different FPS modes involved, fans expect the title to be much more technically advanced as it would possibly offer a much smoother and optimized experience for all PlayStation 5 users.
