Sony has announced a limited-time discount offer on its latest PS5 console. The disc version of the PS5 will be soon available at a flat discount of ₹7,500 in India from July 25 to August 7, at all participating retailers including e-commerce stores like Amazon, Flipkart, ShopatSC, Reliance, and Croma. Currently, the disc version of the PlayStation 5 is available on Amazon with a 1% discount and is priced at Rs 54,200. On Flipkart, the console is sold at Rs 54,990, which is the full price.
This is the biggest price drop in the price of the PS5 ever since its Indian launch. The digital edition of the console, however, will continue selling at its official price. Sony slashed the prices of PS5 and PS5 digital editions by Rs 5,000 for a limited period in April. The newest discount, however, will be the first time when the game console will be sold at a lower price than what it was launched at.
