Renowned Football Personality Vini Jr. Joins LOUD As Co-owner
As the year 2023 ends, the trend of adding a sports personality to a gaming organisation continues. Previously, KRU Esports, founded by Sergio Aguero, announced the Argentinan star Lionel Messi as their co-owner, followed by M80 joining forces with the Tennis star Daniil Medvedev. The Brazillian organisation continues the trend and announces Vinicius Junior as their co-owner to "create content, elevate youth sports, and accelerate educational programs in the region."
While discussing his partnership with LOUD, Vini Jr. shares his vision with his fans.
Partnering with LOUD was a perfect fit. Together, we'll produce great content, encourage young gamers to prioritise their studies and support the next generation of athletes, either on the pitch or on the screen.
Bruno Bittencourt, co-founder of LOUD, shares his excitement upon the arrival of Vini Jr. and says:
Vini Jr represents how gaming culture is evolving beyond the screen and into fashion, sports, and even social causes. Together, we'll exercise that new identity by developing original content, supporting youth education, and finding new ways to improve communities throughout Brazil and Latin America. We're very excited to welcome Vini Jr to LOUD's ownership group as we work to inspire the next generation of gamers.
LOUD began their journey in 2019 with their first Free Fire roster competing globally and their creators focusing on creating on YouTube. Slowly, LOUD expanded across several esports titles, including League of Legends, Fortnite and Valorant. LOUD's journey in Valorant esports was fruitful as they won the VCT Champions 2022, followed by their entry into the VCT Americas league. After their formation, LOUD received several nominations, but it wasn't until 2022 that their hard work gave them fruitful results. In 2022, LOUD won the Esports Team of the Year and Esports Creative Team of the Year at the Esports Awards and the Best Esports Team award at The Game Awards 2022.
