PlayStation fans will be happy to learn that the PS5 will be available for a massive discount during its limited-time promotion in India. The sale will offer a flat Rs 7,500 discount deal for fans. The discount is reportedly only for the for the standard PS5 Disc version. Curiously, this is the second major sales promotion that PlayStation is running for India. The last major Sales promotion took place in July and while it is highly unusual, it is a welcome change of pace for Indian console gamers.

Sony PS5 Available at Rs 7,500 Discount Later this Month

PS5 will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 47,490, and the sale will be up from August 24 to September 2, 2023. The console will be available on various platforms, including Amazon, GTS, Flipkart, Shopatsc, Reliance, Croma, Vijay Sales, and other select retailers.

The price will not affect any bundle variants available with the console. One can enjoy the discount with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Sony raised the prices for its consoles by 10 percent in November 2022. Following the hike, the disc version and the digital variant saw a considerably expensive price tag. With the discount, however, most Indians can enjoy the current-gen console and purchase a few copies of their favorite games. Sony India stated that 2023 has been a fantastic year for the PS5 console, considering there were plenty of games to entertain the players. Titles like Hogwarts Legacy and Final Fantasy XVI were blockbusters that the fans in the country appreciated.
