Recently, Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Jensen Huang, the CEO and Founder of technology giant Nvidia, at his official residence. The two discussed India's potential growth in Artificial Intelligence, overscoring their growing partnership. Nvidia highlighted India as the "global technology superpower" following their successful landing on the Moon's south pole, highlighting the technological and scientific growth of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Meets with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang for the Second Time to Discuss the "Rich Potential India Offers in the World of AI"

As the G20 summit approaches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host numerous world leaders in the coming weeks. On 04 September 2023, PM Narendra Modi hosted Mr Jensen Huang at the Prime Minister's official residence to talk about AI and how India can leverage its talented youth in future development. Here is what NVIDIA said in their official tweet following Huang's meet with the Prime Minister:

Our CEO met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, underscoring the growing partnership between our company and the global technology superpower. At this second meeting between Modi and Huang, applications of AI and leveraging the nation's talented youth were discussed.

After the meeting, Mr. Jensen Huang met with researchers from renowned institutes like the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Technology over an informal dinner. These top minds were from fields like astrophysics, medicine, quantum computing, and natural language processing. They discussed addressing issues like improving agriculture yields and bridging gaps in health care services. The meeting with Mr Jensen Huang is part of the Prime Minister's target of making India the world's third-largest economy by 2023.
