Amazon Prime Video has shared the first trailer for the official Fallout TV show coming to the platform on April 11, 2024, and it is fascinatingly similar to the games. The trailer has showcased Lucy, who is portrayed by actress Ella Purnell, as she leaves the infamous Vault and wanders off to find her adventures, much like any Fallout game.
In the trailer, one can see a lot of familiarity with the games, the western-themed characters, gunslinging, and most importantly, the Power Armor which appears in every single Fallout game.

Fallout TV Show Trailer From Amazon Prime Looks Close to the Games
The world of Fallout games is known for being ridiculously scarce in resources, to the point where citizens are often at war with each other to hoard most of it. Fallout TV show's premise looks a lot similar as Lucy is seen interacting with many characters who have similar motives and their own war to fight against the world.
The trailer has captivated Fallout's world design almost perfectly, by showcasing the darkest sides of humanity. Moreover, it also includes humor from the likes of Walton Goggins. Characters like Maximus, portrayed by popular actor Aaron Clifton Moten are also shown in the TV show who is a part of the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel. Much like the Fallout games, our main character Lucy will learn how it is to live on the harsh surface of the earth, which is a product of the nuclear war waged by humans. Moreover, most surface beings will not take her liking as she is one of the 'Vault dwellers.'
Fans of the Fallout series will also come across many game references from the trailer, like the popular Vault Boy Bobblehead wearing the Vault suit as it is shown multiple times in the trailer. That said, one must know that the Fallout TV show is not based on any of the games developed by Bethesda or Obsidian Studio (Fallout New Vegas). However, executive producer Jonathan Nolan has stated that the TV series is a 'non-interactive version' of Fallout 5. As the TV show is ready to release on April 11, fans will have access to all the episodes as one after its release. Meaning, that viewers will not have to wait for weekly episodes, unlike some other Amazon shows like The Boys or Reacher.
