Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is nearing its launch on PC, with a wide range of tech features gamers can utilize, depending on their specifications. Guerrilla Games already detailed the main PC features last month, which included a ton of content for gamers to enjoy, including the Burning Shores expansion and the pre-purchase bonuses. 

Fast forward two weeks ahead of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition PC's release, developers have also revealed the detailed PC specifications for the title.

Official Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition System Requirements for PC

The official Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition PC System Requirements include four presets, covering from 720p resolution at 30 FPS to 4K at 60 FPS. The presets and their requirements are as follows:

Minimum (Very Low: 720P 30 FPS)

• Processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT 4GB
• Storage: 150GB SSD space
• OS: Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher)

Recommended (Medium: 1080P 60 FPS)

• Processor: Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
• Storage: 150GB SSD space
• OS: Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher)

High (High Settings: 1440P 60 FPS/ 4K 30 FPS)

• Processor: Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800
• Storage: 150GB SSD space
• OS: Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher)

Very High (Very High Settings: 4K 60 FPS)

• Processor: Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT 
• Storage: 150GB SSD space
• OS: Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher)

Despite the recommended system requirements for respective presets, gamers can still tweak their own settings from the graphics menu, which will fit their own visuals and liking.  There are plenty of options in the launcher menu, including quality settings for textures, level of detail, shadows, water, and terrain, which can completely change the visuals according to the player's taste.

When is Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Launching on PC?

Being a popular sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn and a PlayStation Exclusive for a little more than two years, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is finally coming to PC on March 21, 2024.  The Complete Edition will include a variety of cosmetic items and extras for gamers to enjoy, including new skins, and features.
