GTA 6 is easily one of the most highly anticipated games in the history of the medium and its trailer is only a day away. Rockstar Games' trailer announcement was received with much fervour across the gaming fandom. While leaks have been aplenty, Rockstar has managed to keep the big details, such as the plot, under wraps. Although fans have a pretty solid idea about the setting, there might be a good chance Rockstar still has quite a few surprises for fans come December 5. The trailer for the upcoming GTA 6 will premiere on Tuesday, December 5.

GTA 6: How and Where to Watch The Upcoming GTA 6 Trailer?
The long-awaited trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally set to be released on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 9:00 AM ET. This means that fans in India will be able to watch the trailer at around 7:30 PM on December 5. The trailer is most likely to feature only cinematics as Rockstar typically holds out on showing gameplay only months away from release. Fans can watch the trailer on the official Rockstar Games Youtube channel and on their official Instagram/X account.
Leaks from months ago seem to confirm the setting of the upcoming game, but Rockstar still hasn't officially announced where exactly players will be heading to next after their misadventures in Los Santos. Also unknown is whether Rockstar is planning on a GTA Online component to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. Given its sizeable player base as well as the enormous investment of the players into the game, it is likely Rockstar will be planning some kind of transfer system for long-time players. The publisher will likely announce its plans for the Online component a couple of years removed from the launch of GTA 6.
While the release date is still under wraps, many speculate that the game will not be launched until 2025. It remains highly unlikely that that the publisher will announce a release date with the December 5 trailer. Rockstar typically announces the release date a year before the actual launch date. The company, since 2018, has seen massive shifts, including the departure of Co-Founder and Creative Lead on Grand Theft Auto - Dan Houser. Houser had been instrumental in crafting the identity of GTA all these years alongside Leslie Benzies, who has since also left the company.
The changes at Rockstar Games have been quite drastic post-Red Dead Redemption II, whose infamous development cycle raised questions surrounding Rockstar's work culture, especially to do with crunch. The publisher reports that crunch has essentially been eliminated from all dev cycles to ensure a positive work environment at all their studios. It remains to be seen just how well the studio delivers on GTA 6 and whether it can capture lightning in a bottle as each game has been able to do so in the past.
