Grim Fandango Remastered, Day Of The Tentacle Remastered And Full Throttle Remastered Have Been Rated For PS4 And PS5 In Taiwan
In the latest information by Gematsu, the classic games from Double Fine are set to arrive on the PlayStation 5. Gematsu wrote on their post that:
Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered, and Grim Fandango Remastered have been rated for PS5 and PS4 in Taiwan. These have been available for PS4 for years, but PS5 versions would be new.
Set in the Land of the Dead, the original classic game of Grim Fandango by LucasArts was the story of Manny Calavera, inspired by Mexican folklore. The puzzle-solving and exploration game of Grim Fandango was about Manny's aim to uncover the corruption taking place in the afterlife. Fans loved the engaging story and imaginative world-building of the game.
Full Throttle, another action-adventure game by LucasArts, was released in 1995. Players in Full Throttle assume the role of Ben, the leader of a motorcycle gang called the Polecats and is framed for a crime he didn't commit. Day of the Tentacle was one of the first time-travel games with triple protagonists. Released in 1993, the game was loved by fans because of its scientific fiction nature, which was a combination of puzzle-solving, story, and humour.
After the games are released on PlayStation 5, the new generation of gamers will get a taste of the classic adventure games, with the classic game lovers getting lost in the nostalgia of puzzle-solving adventure games.
