Sony held its first PlayStation State of Play this year on January 31, 2024, revealing a huge list of gaming content scheduled for the PlayStation 5. The 45-minute broadcast featured teasers and reveals for various titles including new IPs like Judas and remakes of older titles like the Sonic Shadow Generations. With over eight titles showcased at the first State of Play for the year, PlayStation is ready to dedicate a second presentation solely to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
As Cloud's story evolves, gamers are ready to discover more about the second installment of the remake project. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been a long-awaited title since its first announcement in June 2022. The upcoming PlayStation broadcast is ready to shed some more light.

Second Sony State of Play is Ready to be All About Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
On Tuesday, February 6, Square Enix promised to deliver an extended look at the much-anticipated sequel in the Final Fantasy VII Remake Project. The broadcast is set to be held on February 6 at 3:30 pm PT / 11:30 pm GMT and will feature more insight into the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Interested viewers can catch the broadcast live on PlayStation's official social media handles: YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
Much like the previous broadcast, the upcoming State of Play will be 40 minutes long, featuring guest appearances from many talented faces in the gaming industry.
Since Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's official announcement in 2022, Square Enix has been consistently teasing content for the game including the developer interview held last year.
The interview shared some interesting gameplay details about the Remake Project sequel that claimed innovations to the gameplay mechanics. One of the most hyped features in the FFVII Rebirth is the new playable characters, Red XIII and Cait Sith.
The title is also expected to add many more summons to the game in addition to the ones revealed at the first look. Rebirth will also feature a map double in size, as mentioned by Director Naoki Hamaguchi, and will contribute to more than just the main story.
Gamers have much to explore in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as it promises to dive deeper in terms of level design, combat, and overall gameplay loop. The upcoming sequel to the FF Remake Project is set to release on February 29, 2024, exclusively for the PlayStation 5. PC Gamers can enjoy the game on May 29, 2024.
