After Sucker Punch Productions assured the Ghost Of Tsushima fans that the PSN ID would be only required for playing the multiplayer or Legends Mode, Steam abruptly delisted the PC port across 200 countries. Alongside Steam, Epic Games Store and Green Man Gaming have also delisted the game, and Steam has started the refund process for all the pre-purchase of the game.
Over the past few days, Sony has made its fans angry over the PSN requirements to play games like Helldivers 2, and the delisting of the Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut will act as fuel to the fire. Several gamers across the world were looking forward to playing the game on their PC, but the PSN restriction would paint Sony and the game in a negative light. The fans may review-bomb Ghost Of Tsushima, just like they did to Helldivers 2 after Sony delisted the game.

Steam Abruptly Deslited Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut PC Port Across 200 Countries And Issues Refunds For The Pre-Purchases
Sony is back to rewrite the PSN restriction saga once again with Ghost Of Tsushima PC Port. After four years of waiting, fans were excited for the release of the Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut on PC on 16 May 2024. Fans' anticipation of playing the game was ruined when Sony shared that the game would require a PlayStation Network or PSN ID to play the game.
Since PlayStation Network is not accessible across 100s of countries, fans won't be able to play the game. After the commotion over the PSN requirement, Sucker Punch Productions confirmed that the PSN ID is just required to access the Legends Mode and the PlayStation overlay. Despite the assurance, Sony seems to trick the players once again by delisting the game across 200 countries. It is worth noting that the main component or the single-player mode of the Ghost Of Tsushima doesn't require a PSN account to play the game.
Steam, Green Man Gaming and Epic Games Stores have delisted the game in countries like Afghanistan, Estonia, Armenia and more, where the PlayStation Network is not available. Additionally, Steam has started refunding the pre-purchases made for the game, which confirms that players across 200 countries won't be able to access Ghost Of Tsushima on their PC on 16 May 2024.
Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut for PC will be released on 16 May 2024, and all the gamers residing in the countries with access to the PlayStation Network will be able to play the game. The game will come with new features on PC, including support for ultrawide monitors and even 48:9 resolutions for triple monitor setups.
