After being missing from the Play Store for almost a week, Free Fire has been reinstated to its Pre-Registration status. Free Fire India is a popular multiplayer online Battle Royale game that was banned in India in February 2022 for having connections to China and accused of sharing users' data with them. Since then, Free Fire fans have been waiting eagerly for the game to be unbanned. A few months back, official news of the game being unbanned was announced, with the date being set at September 5, 2023. Since then the game relaunch has been indefinitely postponed.

Will Free Fire Be Getting Unbanned Soon?
The removal of Free Fire India from the Play Store may have happened for many reasons. Google may have removed it since the game is in production it needs to follow all the rules. One reason could be that the game's publisher, Garena, may have taken it down to publish it on their app store, giving them more control. Because of these issues, there are still security problems with the original Free Fire game, hence not allowing it to be released in the country. Another reason could be that the game must launch within three months after it is available for pre-registration according to guidelines, which did not happen hence the takedown.
Although the Install option is available on the Play Store page, users can only use it to install and run the game after its official release. Players are currently unable to play the popular battle royale game in its rebranded Indian version. There is a lot of excitement surrounding Free Fire India's much-anticipated return to the Play Store. The reinstated game might be a sign of Garena bringing the game back soon, although any kind of official statement has not been released. After being vanished from the Play Store for almost a week, Free Fire coming back is a good sign for the future of the game launch's certainty.
