Latest CS2 patch re-enables Casual Matchmaking
The update focuses on fixing gameplay, sound and map bugs
From now on, Windows servers will be visible in Steam's Server Browser
After pushing invites to more players for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test, Valve is out with another patch update for the test. The latest update highlights several bug fixes, like the spawn areas of Ancient and Overpass and a bug where dropped weapons were behaving weirdly. Another highlight is the re-enabling of Casual matchmaking for the players and fixing sound bugs at the end of the deathmatch.

In the previous update, Valve shared the invite for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test alongside the introduction of Premier Mode, CS Rating and the new MR12 system for Premier Matchmaking, Competitive, and the Majors. In the current patch, Valve focuses on fixing the bugs and providing a smoother experience to the players and has re-enabled casual matchmaking.
In Ancient, Valve fixed the CT spawn area shape in the minimap and adjusted the spawn locations in Overpass. They have also fixed bugs and tweaks in the newly added map, Inferno. Issues that were present while dropping a weapon have also been resolved. They've addressed a sound problem where the end-game music wasn't functioning and implemented some adjustments to Premier UI elements. Additionally, Windows servers are now visible in Steam's Server Browser. The official patch notes are given below:
