Before the IPL 2024 season began, the popular franchise Mumbai Indians partnered with BGMI and Pokemon, making them their official sponsor for the season. With the collaboration, Krafton promised multiple in-game cosmetics in BGMI in the near future. Krafton kept their promise and released the BGMI x MI Event Prize Path for the fans, where the players can complete the missions and collect Mumbai Indians-themed in-game goodies.
Mumbai Indians-themed in-game items include new gun skin like MI Dhamakedar DP28, MI Pull Shot Parachute, and more. Players have first to unlock the prize path to be eligible to complete missions and collect event coins.

To enter the BGMI x MI event prize path, players must unlock the event by spending 500 UC (discounted price from 600 UC) and start their prize path journey. Players will have to complete different missions to earn the event coins. Over time, players can then utilise these event coins to buy different Mumbai Indians-themed skins like the MI Dhamakedar DP28, MI backpack, helmets, and even vehicle skins. Players will also have the option to purchase all the items from the event shops using UC.
Apart from the event coins and event shops, players can even unlock different prizes in the BGMI x MI prize path by completing various missions and collecting mission points. With the mission points, players will be able to level themselves up to collect the prize path rewards. For example, upon unlocking the prize path, players can get the MI Pull Shot Parachute, and after collecting 200 mission points, they will go to level two.
In the prize path, players can collect the MI Pull Shot Parachute at level 1. At level 5, players will get The Mumbaiker Set (7 days), and upon reaching the final level 20, players will unlock The Mumbaiker Set permanently.
Krafton and BGMI had previously collaborated with the Mumbai Indians’ captain, Hardik Pandya, on the voice pack and his Indian cricket jerseys. While the BGMI x MI won’t comprise any MI jerseys, fans can grab the Mumbai Indians-themed skins to showcase their support for the franchise and add new skins to their collection.
