BGMI Update 3.0: Expected Release Date, Features, and More

Battlegrounds Mobile India's (BGMI) new update is coming soon. After the snow and Christmas theme, the 2.9 update will run its course, and the 3.0 update will be made available to the audience. While the 2.9 version update had all things wintery, the 3.0 update will shift the focus to other themes and additions in the game.

BGMI Update 3.0 Expected Release Date

The BGMI 3.0 update is likely to be released sometime during late January 2024, after the current theme completes two months, but the exact date is not yet released by Krafton. However, the end of January timeline is fixed. The new update will also feature the A5 royale pass, which will carry a lot of exclusive items for the audience to enjoy along with a level 100 RP outfit for the players who purchase the pass. 

BGMI Update 3.0 Features And Modes

The new update will come with a lot of interesting updates and modes. These modes and features will make the game more interesting and the BGMI action, more intense. To begin with, Katana will be added to the game, which is likely to deflect bullets and will have a brilliant animation. Here is what the new update will have: 

Shadow Force Theme Mode

The update will change the mood of the game and players will be able to like a Ninja with some additions in the game that will enhance the Ninja theme that the mode is based on. In addition to this, new weapons and ninja features will be added to the game so that the players get the feel of the theme. These are the likely additions to the game.

Theme Mode Exclusive Weapon- Katana

A new weapon will be added to the game. The katana will help finish the enemies like the dagger and is likely to deflect the bullets that the enemies shoot towards the players. 

Driver Can Heal While Driving 

The latest addition to the game would be the feature that enables the car drivers to heal while they drive the vehicles. Before this, only the passengers were able to heal when the vehicle was moving, but now, the driver would also be able to heal: by using painkillers, drinks and bandages. 

Skytether Hook 

The Skytther hook will help the players move around the map, get on top of the building like a ninja and glide in the air for a short while. This is similar to the Spiderman power that was available in the Spiderman update. This hook can be found during looting or in the shops in exchange of shop tokens. 

Proxy Scout Device 

This device can clown the players and that character can scout for enemies till a certain range and catch them off guard. Once the device is released, it will also inflict some damage on the opponents.

New Structures Added 

In addition to all of this, new structures will be added to the game. This addition will be done on top of the building, and new pathways along with ziplines will be added so that the players can glide across easily. However, if the players already have the Skytether Hook, they might not need the ziplines.
