Assassin's Creed Mirage Introduces New Permadeath Mode with Latest Title Update

According to Ubisoft's notes on the new permadeath update, the mode is called Full Synchronization Challenge. The mode will test gamers on their ultimate assassin skills. It will enable Basim to desynchronize from the Animus if they die or commit any illegal actions that he did not do in the past. These include killing civilians, or going outside authorized map areas.

In the Full Synchronization Challenge mode for Assassin's Creed Mirage, when Basim desynchronizes from the Animus, gamers will be shown a new display screen showing statistics of their gameplay time, the total amount of conflicts, cause of death, number of enemies killed, assassin rank, and difficulty chosen to play, instead of the usual desynchronized screen.

This game mode incorporates a popular Roguelike element where gamers will have to replay the entire campaign from the beginning once they die and lose their progress during the run.

How to Enable Full Synchronization Mode in Assassin's Creed Mirage?

According to Ubisoft's official notes for the Title Update 1.0.7, the additional details are as follows:

  • You can enable the Full Synchronization Challenge when starting a new game from the title screen.
  • Full Synchronization Challenge cannot be enabled or disabled when the game has started.
  • Cross-progression AND Cloud saves will be disabled when starting permadeath.

Gamers also receive Full Synchronization Challenge Rewards upon playing the mode:

  • Unlock an emblem when you complete the game in easy mode.
  • Unlock the emblem and Rayhan costume in normal mode.
  • Unlock all the above and 6 new dyes for existing outfits (Initiate, Zanj Uprising, Abbasid Knight, Hidden Ones, Rostam, Bayek) when completed in hard. (Please note; that dyes can only be applied to these specific outfits).

The new outfit feature is also here with the mode where one can wear any costume as an outfit if they own it. It also comes with a new easter egg to the world where one might meet a special assassin roaming the streets.
