New Assassin's Creed Mirage Story Trailer Revealed: Full Voice Cast, Story Details, and More

Ubisoft revealed a new cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed Mirage at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, called 'The Round City of Baghdad.' The trailer covers key story details about the protagonist Basim who last appeared in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It also offers a deep dive into the world of Mirage, showcasing various set pieces from the maps and introducing new characters.

Ubisoft first announced Assassin's Creed Mirage in September 2022 with a World Premier Cinematic trailer showcasing a brand new Baghdad setting. Following the first reveal, the developers have dropped plenty of content reveals for Mirage even making an appearance at the recent PlayStation Showcase.

Ubisoft Reveals New Assassin's Creed Mirage Trailer With Extra Story Content

 

 

The recent trailer revealed at the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 encompassed the work of multiple talented voice artists behind the characters of Mirage. These actors will play a crucial part in Basim's story. All the known VAs (Voice Artists) for the game are as follows:

  • Lee Majdoub (Basim Ibn Is'haq)
  • Shohreh Aghdashloo (Roshan)
  • Sophia Eleni (Hadya)
  • Aladeen Tawfeek (Ali Ibn Mohammed)
  • Nezar Alderazi (Various characters)
  • Alex Martin (Various characters)

 

Assassin's Creed Mirage will launch on October 5, 2023. The title's original release date was October 12 but the game managed to go Gold early. The developers have now decided to bring forward the game's release date. Mirage will be the first Assassin's Creed installment in two years and promises to take fans to the game's roots. The recent gameplay trailers also showcased gameplay that looked free of any RPG elements, contrary to the last few AC titles.

 

The last Assassin's Creed title launched in 2020 with Ubisoft taking the franchise down a different path, fully integrating mythical and fantasy elements into the now RPG-esque series. Since then, Ubisoft has worked on smaller titles like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and occasional big releases like Far Cry 6. In 2023, the French publishers have a lot of titles in their pipeline, starting with Assassin's Creed Mirage.
