After the success of Skyesports Masters, India's first franchise-based Counter-Strike tournament, the tournament organiser is going big with their Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2. With Aurora 1xBet Gaming becoming the first team to qualify for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN, Skyesports announced the invited team for the event's Finale. Team OG's CS2 lineup will travel alongside Aurora 1xBet Gaming to Mumbai and compete for the lion's share of the $100,000 prize pool in December.
The TO will host the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 lan in Mumbai from 1 December 2023 to 3 December 2023, featuring a prize pool of $100,000. The Finale of Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature four teams out of which Aurora 1xBet Gaming has booked their slot from the European closed qualifiers with OG joining them as an invited team. The other two teams will join the finalists after playing in the regional qualifiers.

OG To Fly To Mumbai As An Invited Team For Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN
From 23 October 2023 to 26 October 2023, Skyesports hosted the European closed qualifiers for Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 featuring Aurora 1xBet Gaming, Navi Junior, Team SoloMid (TSM) and B8 Esports. After defeating their competitors, Aurora 1xBet Gaming went 3-0 in the group stages to qualify for the finals. Skyesports will host the Indian and UAE Open qualifiers from 16 November 2023. Dates for the open qualifiers are:
- UAE Qualifier: 16 November to 19 November
- India Qualifier: 17 November to 22 November
While talking about the international teams taking part in Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2, Shiva Nandy, CEO and Founder of Skyesports, said:

Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature a prize pool of $100,000 and the distribution is as follows:
- First place: $50,000
- Second place: $30,000
- Third place: $13,000
- Fourth place: $6,000
- MVP: $1,000
