After revealing NAVI Junior as one of the invited teams for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 EU closed qualifiers, Skyesports unveiled the format for the tournament. Skyesports Championship 5.0 will host two LAN events for BGMI and Counter-Strike 2. Under the tagline "Path To Pro," top teams from Europe, UAE, and India will get a chance to compete against each other in Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN. Each region will have its qualifiers and the winners will fly to Mumbai for the CS2 LAN finals starting on 1 December 2023. The EU closed qualifiers will start on 23 October 2023 and will run till 26 October 2023.
Apart from CS2, Skyesports Championship 5.0 will host their BGMI LAN finals in Bangalore. The top 16 BGMI teams will fly down to Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore, and fight for the lion's share of the Rs. 1,25 Crore prize pool. Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN finals will run from 3 November 2023 to 5 November 2023.

Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 Tournament Format
The European closed qualifiers for Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will kick off on 23 October 2023 and will follow a round-robin format. The invited teams for the closed qualifiers are Natus Vincere (NAVI) Junior, B8 Esports, Aurora 1xBet Gaming, and Team SoloMid (TSM). The winner from the closed qualifiers will qualify for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN finals, taking place in Mumbai.
Aside from the closed qualifiers, Skyesports will host open qualifiers for both India and UAE. Gods Reign from India and Team Shush from UAE featured in the grand finals of Skyesports Souvenir 2023 with Gods Reign winning the tournament in dominant fashion. Skyesports is yet to reveal more details regarding the Indian and UAE open qualifiers like participating teams and so on.
Besides the regional qualifiers, Skyesports will invite "a special guest" as an invited team for the Skyeports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN finals. While the invited team's names are still a surprise, Shiva Nandy, CEO and Founder of Skyesports, in a recent Instagram story revealed that Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature five European teams. While four teams compete in the closed qualifiers, the fifth European team might be the special guest. Additionally, Shiva has been hinting at NAVI and s1mple on his Instagram story, which could mean that NAVI's main lineup might come to India for the CS2 LAN finals.
Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature a prize pool of $100,000 and the winner of the CS2 LAN finals will receive $50,000. The LAN finals will take place in Mumbai, India, for three days, starting 1 December 2023.
